THE FIELD IS EXCITING! Roughly simplified, I can say: In Gestalt therapy theory, we believe that healing can happen in relationship with the therapist. Both therapist and client influence and are influenced by each other. This can create new experiences in the field.
Then it becomes extra important for me, that I as a therapist work with my own unfinished gestalts/ traumas so that I can contribute to precisely new experiences. Then there will perhaps be less creative adaptation here and now.
