Elisabeth Helene Sæther (1959) FOUNDER
Registered Gestalt therapist and supervisor MNGF
First and foremost, I am passionate about my job; "how to work with unfinished gestalts/ traumas". To give space for “my own unfinished busuness” and find out what it is that makes me/you/us so vulnerable to trauma and what it is that makes it often take so long before we focus on what has affected us.
It took me yeeeeeeears before I realized that I also was traumatized, had unfinished gestalts, fixed gestalts or traumas. And that I lived a life I didn’t quite recognize as mine ((: Through my work with myself, I have experienced how this early influence in my life has impacted the life I have lived, the choices I have made and how I have stopped myself, judged myself and really not knew who I have been!

Does this make sence to you, too?

For the most part, I have lived in my creative adjustments and survival strategies - and bit by bit, slowly but surely - I become more me.

I suspect you are doing the same thing.
I am by no means finished, I also go to therapy regularly - so that I also experience this in my own body! Therefore I can teach this to gestalt therapists with their own clinical practice. I love my work as a supervisor for therapists, students and as a supervisor for those who want to experience and explore the FIELD SUPPORT method.
EDUCATION:
Otherwise I am a qualified teacher. I have a five-year coaching education in addition to a supervisor education in dream work. Studied Psychosynthesis (transpersonal psychology) for two years at the Norwegian Institute for Psychosynthesis and transferred to a four-year Gestalt therapy education at the Norwegian Gestalt Institute College, where I also worked as a substitute teacher and supervisor for 7 years. I have taken both continuing education and supervisor education for Gestalt therapists and I am a registered Gestalt therapist and supervisor/hypervition MNGF (member of the EAGT trough NGF) and supervise other Gestalt therapists. I have also looked into several trauma modalities, but I have landed on the Gestalt method, "my way".
For the last years I have also worked as a teacher at the Gestalt Institute in Krakow and have my own continuing education/ Trauma School at the institute where qualified Gestalt therapists/ and other modality learn to work with the field support method. I also woek in Budapest together with my Gestalt colleagues and friends Rieka Horosz and Tamas Avar.
